Stampers are used to create the regular - daily use - data/music CDs. Stampers are stainless steel disks with protrusions that create the pits in a CD. Careful attention must be paid to the protrusion dimensions and spacings since small deviations may lead to manufacturing defects. Height, length, and wall angle dimensions are of great importance.
